So,
We did World Gin Day. Some of us enjoyed a lot of Gin. But then I realised…what is the ‘best’ Gin.
Therefore, we will be having a GinOff.

This is probably dumb and gimmicky (I’d miss the clink clink clink of ice and sticky fingers from squeezing the lime), but I liked the photo:
“Sam Bompas and Harry Parr are Bompas & Parr, based in London. One of their latest projects is “Alcoholic Architecture.” Participants walked into a thick fog of gin and tonic. Sam and Harry worked with doctors and engineers to measure the exact amount of cocktail that would be absorbed. Viewers left the exhibit feeling as though they drank an actual gin and tonic.”
Although, come to think of it, I’ve been in plenty of gin fogs.

The Epsteintastic: this is my new cocktail invention, made in part with help from my dad.
-Make a basil/lime syrupy puree by putting lots of basil in a blender, lime, and sugar, and blend blend blend until smooth.
-Mix 1 parts basil/lime stuff with 1 part Hendrick’s gin (cucumber-flavored gin), and 1 part Pelligrino
-Garnish with lime (extra squeeze) and some mint.
