So,
We did World Gin Day. Some of us enjoyed a lot of Gin. But then I realised…what is the ‘best’ Gin.
Therefore, we will be having a GinOff.

Well, who knew that you could get a website up and blog about gin. Then link to some facebook event, and manage to get 599 people to attend ‘World Gin Day’.
You are all great, just remember to quaff the Gin, only 3 and a bit hours for it to be official in the UK.
Remember, take some pictures, we would love to share them around.

My only disagreement with this writer is on the matter of Hendrick’s Gin. Any discriminate gin lover will tell you that Hendrick’s should be enjoyed without tonic, to enhance the special blend of flavors found therein. Tonic is for lesser gin, like Bombay, Tanqueray, and Beefeater.
I'm only gonna have this one last gin and tonic.

Classic Martini

Ingredients
75ml (or approx 2+ 1/2 oz) Gin 15ml (or approx 1/4 oz) Dry Vermouth 1 green olive OR a twist of lemon peel

Gin Day - The Lowdown
Gin Day, is taking place on the 13th June 2009.
Wherever you are this Saturday, ensure you have a Gin based drink at hand. Anywhere from a classic G&T, Gin Sling, or Martini.
Make sure you take a picture of your drink and hastag it #GinDay. So get out there and have a drink on us.
